Novia Breather Membrane Lap Tape is a sealing and bonding tape suitable for overlaps and joints on Novia Breather Membranes within both roof and wall applications. It has a high strength acrylic dispersion adhesive and non-woven polypropylene as the carrier.
Novia Breather Membrane Lap Tape is suitable for use with Novia Breather Membranes and should be used to seal all membrane overlaps to protect against external environmental conditions and improve airtightness. To fully complete a breather membrane seal and further reduce the air-leakage of the construction, use this tape in conjunction with Novia Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
This tape is required for use with some breather membranes in accordance with BS 5534 wind uplift requirements.
